ATLAS is a Microsoft Office® Visual Basic for Application (VBA) based standalone semi-open source reporting application. Semi-open source means that all settings and all specifications can be defined and amended in configuration files outside of the VBA code by the (admin) user(s) and the VBA code is only used to automatically execute these settings and is void of any hard coded values and predefined instructions. The ATLAS application enables the user to (1-HERA) consolidate and manipulate data from any source and form, (2-PEGASUS) retrieve data from any (type of) source data container, convert and format it into reporting information, (3-APOLLO) distribute the output to any audience, and (4-CHRONOS) schedule any process. Because ATLAS is VBA based, all new functionalities and upgrades of Microsoft Office® can be (read: are by default) incorporated within the ATLAS application. Due to the design of the ATLAS Graphical User Interface (GUI), operations for the end-user are simple, clear and result in varied, complete and portable reporting output.

A fully supported trial version, without any limitations, is available free of charge.

I am an end-user reporting application developer, studied Economics at the University of Amsterdam and have been working within financial reporting for over 18.5 years. I have recently designed and created the official global financial, risk and pnl reporting application for a major Dutch international financial institution. And as a team member of the Management Information Workgroup, the application has been deployed and implemented worldwide within the organisation successfully and is currently the primary reporting application.

My goal is to develop stable, efficient and user-friendly reporting solutions which use all the benefits and flexibility of the Microsoft Office® applications suite, tailored for internal and external reporting requirements.
