The ATLAS application also contains a full automatic emailing functionality. This functionality enables the end-user to generate and send (or preview) emails with a single click of a button and/or via the “on-timer” functionality. The content and layout of the emails are based on predefined templates settings stored in “.mai” files which can be edited in Excel®, Notepad and WordPad® and any setting can be made date dependent. All text enclosed by open- and close-square brackets will be formatted according the selected date (i.e. [(ddd) yyyy-mm-dd] will become (Fri) 2015-05-08). This can be used anywhere within the ".mai" files (i.e. subject field, file path location, workbook name, etc...).
Email properties which can be set are: subject, recipients (to, cc, bcc, and reply to), Excel® ranges (from specified Excel® workbooks), hyperlinks, attachments (zipped or unzipped), variable date information, voting buttons, etc…
